‘Craftmanship, medium-sized, small and micro enterprises are a strength
of the country's economic fabric and also stand out as excellences in global markets.
The creativity, passion, exploration of the future proper
to smaller enterprises are an asset that feeds the entire economic system.
Artisans represent an important social force
and a large part of Italian progress depends on them.’
Sergio Mattarella, 2024

ARTIGIANATO E PALAZZO is first and foremost an exhibition of “artisans” before it is an exhibition of “crafts”: in fact, they are the real protagonists, always called upon to present live the diverse and multiple working techniques in which they excel and to reconstruct during the trade-show a corner of their workshops.
The numerous requests for participation from italian and foreign exhibitors are carefully selected to ensure the quality and diversity of the crafts that distinguish ARTIGIANATO E PALAZZO each year.
In 30 editions, about 998 master craftsmen specializing in more than 164 crafts of the most diverse types have been selected and presented to the public.
“ARTIGIANATO E PALAZZO presents a vital sector
of our country, made up of people driven by passion,
sensitivity and resourcefulness, capable of grasping
in tradition the cues of modernity and innovate the product.”
Dario Franceschini, 2017
Former Minister of Cultural Heritage and Activities and Tourism
Within the fascinating setting of the Small Lemon House of the Corsini Gardens or the Ballroom on the ground floor of the Corsini Palace, the “Main Exhibition” takes the form precisely of an “Exhibition within an Exhibition” and illustrates the creative journey of a brand that has made the artisan matrix the key to its success, setting itself as a beacon and stimulus for other artisans.
“ARTIGIANATO E PALAZZO, in addition to promoting and protecting
that plus of true creativity, that Made in Italy,
that distinguishes our country all over the world,
takes on the additional value of confidence in the future and hope for a restart.”
Eugenio Giani, 2021
President of the Region of Tuscany
The exhibition takes place over three days:
a long weekend at the end of summer
immersed in the splendid setting
of the Renaissance Corsini Gardens
in the heart of Florence.
“Italy is made up of cities, towns and palaces that, together with artisans,
have been able to narrate for centuries to the whole world the beauty,
the quality and exclusivity of our products today concentrated
also in this magnificent Exhibition.”
Adolfo Urso, 2023
Minister of Business and Made in Italy
With a view to taking ‘Made in Italy’ beyond national borders,
ARTISANATO E PALAZZO has been selected
and invited to represent Italy in important foreign contexts.
